Alicante Design Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Alicante Design, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms and conditions below.

 

Definitions:

The Client: The company or individual requesting the services of Alicante Design.
Alicante Design: Primary designer & employees or affiliates.

 

General

Alicante Design will carry out work only where an agreement is provided either by email, telephone, mail or fax. It is the clients responsibility to provide a detailed brief and scope for the project. Work will commence on receipt of the clients copy, images and other content required for the work to be produced. The client agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to Alicante Design all materials required to complete the project to the agreed standard and within the set deadline.

 

Alicante Design cannot take responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by the client. We reserve the right to

refuse any material of a copyrighted nature unless adequate proof is given of permission to use such material. It is the clients responsibility to ensure copyright and permissions are in place for supplied material.

 

A deposit of 25% is required with any project before any design work will be carried out.

 

Once a project has been commissioned and completed the final balance of payment is then due in accordance with our payment terms. There are no exceptions to this, i.e. If the client decides they no longer want the project, as they have commissioned the work and paid a deposit they are still obliged to pay for the work that has been done. Non payment will result in legal action being taken if necessary.

 

Website Hosting

Alicante Design can recommend suitable hosting solutions for small business. We also recommend Adobe hosting services for larger clients with more demanding requirements. We are not in the business of supplying website hosting. It's the clients responsibility to ensure that website hosting is suitable for their requirements.

 

IOS Deployment

We can deploy Apps and Magazines under our development licenses. It's recommended for organisations wishing to use their own branding to enrol in either the Enterprise Developer or Apple Developer scheme. i.e.: When an Application is deployed into the Apple Store the developer will appear in your company name. Enterprise Developer allows the internal distribution of Apps for your company.

 

Print Design

It is the clients responsibility to ensure copy is supplied in a suitable form and spell checked ect. Art/photography should be supplied as high resolution images. i.e.: 300 dpi. Logos and branding should be supplied a high resolution. Additional charges may be incurred recreating branding in a high resolution format.

 

Payment of Accounts

A deposit is required from any new client before any work is carried out. It is the Alicante Design policy that any outstanding accounts for work carried out by Alicante Design or its affiliated companies are required to be paid in full, no later than 14 days from the date of the invoice unless by prior arrangement with Alicante Design.

Once a deposit is paid and work completed you are obliged to pay the balance of payment in full. We will contact clients via email and telephone to remind them of such payments if they are not received when due.

If accounts are not settled or Alicante Design have not been contacted regarding the delay, access to the related project may be denied, websites removed. Cease and desist notice issued under the EU Copyright and Patents Act. Legal action may then commence.
